Excellent image. Only drawback: an average compression on some backgrounds if you have a king-size TV. Except that, it's sharp, very clean, and with vivid colors. The average compression of The Eye is forgotten, Panorama delivers a 16/9 double layer DVD worth every dollar of its price.

sound

Good use of the surround channels even if it's not Star Wars. Musics and ambiences are using all the speakers, and the sound effects are precisely located. Good job also.

subtitles

Good speed, correct english.

special features

Sadly no subtitles on the making-of, and no translations for the texts and eastern eggs. That's a pity coz Applause added another DVD for the bonus, even if they are not that numerous.

menus

Excellent animated menus, with a terrific cover. That's easy to see that some people worked hard on this DVD. However, it's annoying to have an ad at the beginning of each DVD...

quality/price ration

If you speak cantonese, that's a terrific value for the price. If you don't, that's still a great DVD to discover this excellent comedy. Buy it!
