Pretty good image. Except some compression problems in the background (light and noticable only on a big image), everything is excellent: clean, sharp, vivid colors.
sound
A good 5.1 track, with very precise sound effects on all the channels. However, 2 noticable little problems: some dialogs are a little bit too low, and it lacks power during some action scenes. Nothing really annoying though.

Of course it's lacking special features, but who would watch 3 hours of making of about this movie? An interview with Tsui Hark would have been interesting, but at least the movie is shown in perfect conditions. If you want to see this movie, buy this DVD.
