IVL

A very unsual Chang Cheh Movie, making it out Spaghetti-Western Style!
i some kind of became to liking this Movie, after seeing some Classic Italo Westerns in the same Time after rewatching this one.
It is really much more a classic Western than a Kung Fu Movie in any way.
at this - it works really good. But if you look for a Fight-Fest you better go to the Chang's Film Co Movies from later time!
Picture is as excellent as always for Celestial Release.
the Sound is a bit problematic, what bothered me the most is that IVL had to change the opening Music with a self-recorded Tune of the Theme from NA CHA THE GREAT!
Luckily I got my hands on the Malay VCD,which has the Original Mono Sound (It can be also heard during the very interesting Audio Commentary contained on the IVL DVD).
Sound Efffects have not been added during Action Scenes, only some annoying Crickets in the Rear Ambience have been pushed into the Mix.
These Creatures can get very annoying! they play in every IVL DVD,which has Scenes taking Place at Night.Somebody over there must be told that Crickets are NOT everywhere at every Place at night!
All in all,good DVD.
