Explications:

this time, the new movie �love undercover 2~a beautiful mission� expanded beyond hk to Shanghai for the filming. recently, 'Beautiful Mission' was filming in a old church in Shanghai. the church was re-decorated into a restaurant for the set of the Russian dance scene. the production company was very serious about the film. so they invited a teacher to demonstrate and instruct the dances.

in the movie, Raymond Wong was a handsome gifted dancer. there was a scene where he had to lift Miriam up high in the air. Miriam giggled and laughed all the time through that. even though it was very cold in Shanghai but Raymond Wong was sweaty after that scene, very tired and hot! Miriam who doesn't usually dance was doing quite well. she said she knows a bit of Kung Fu and learnt Tai Chi b4!

also, everyone had to wear the special costume to sing and dance. Miriam was very pleased with her green jacket with red pants plus the big blue feather hat look. she said she looked like 'sapphire prince'! however, Miriam's feather hat was very distracting for the others. bcoz Miriam was very active in the set. that's y the feather on her hat kept on flowing everywhere. pple shouted at her to stop therefore she started walking slowly. apart from that, when Miriam and Daniel were filming romantic scenes, the feather was always in the way making them itchy and crack up, destroying the romantic atmosphere.

moreover, Daniel Wu who mastered many different foreign languages had to learn Russian rite away bcoz of the plot. he was the only one who had to speak in Russian therefore he sacrified his resting time for learning but he was pretty talented that way, it wasn't difficult at all.

* (3/28/2003) Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho), Wu Fung,
Cheung Ying Choi, Chow Chung and Hui Siu Hung yesterday attended the
production start ceremony of LOVE UNDERCOVER 2 (SUN JAT SI MUI 2 MEI LAI
YUM MO), but production has actually begun days ago without Chin Wa or
Ng Yin Cho.

In the film, a third party will appear between Chin Wa and Ng Yin
Cho. A Mainland actor will play the role. Ng Yin Cho returned from
Thailand and later has to return there to continue work on AROUND THE
WORLD in 80 DAYS.

Director Joe Ma Wai Ho not only has his eyes set on lead character
Fong Lai Guen, but also has nothing but respect for the four veteran
actors Wu Fung, Cheung Ying Choi, Chow Chung and Chan Man Lui formed G4
(Grandfather 4), who will have a lot of screen time. Ma Wai Ho revealed
that G4 on the set while on the camera or off has given everyone much
surprise and joy. With a great actor like Hui Siu Hung, Ma Wai Ho said,
"the second movie will definitely be better than the first. It will be
shot in Shanghai. The story will take place in a metropolis, and people
and scenery will match up well."

Ma Ho Wai has his set set on turning the film into a franchise.
He claimed that Wu Fung agreed but told him not to make more than the
Wong Fei Hung franchise so such a classic film has maintained its record;
in LOVE Yeung Chin Wa is like Wong Fei Hung, both are righteous heroic
figures, while Ng Yin Cho is like Ah Foon, an important character by Chin
Wa's side.

* (4/1/2003) Miriam Yeung Chin Wa is working on the Joe Ma Wai Ho directed
new film LOVE UNDERCOVER 2 (SUN JAT SI MUI 2 ji MEI LAI YUM MO). Playing
a traffic cop, Chin Wa two night ago worked on a gun fight on the streets
of Hong Kong. Although Chin Wa is known for her uncontrollable laughter,
she was rather agile when she performed her action sequences. A glass
shattering scene that took Chin Wa a dozen tries or so before the shoot
only took one take.

During a production a foreign man looked on. After the shoot, he
walked over to the director and Chin Wa, applauded, and praised Chin Wa
for her beauty and outstanding performance. Chin Wa said, actually this
scene was not as explosive as she has imagined. She was worried about
glass shrapnel but she did not think there would be any problem due to
the stunt coordinators on site. Actually Chin Wa two days ago has already
worked on an explosion scene and a two floor wired fall, as well as a
stop, drop and roll and a fire scene.

The film later will shoot in Shanghai. Chin Wa will play a cop
undercover then and has to be like Chow Yun Fat and wield a gun in each
hand. She expressed that Shanghai scenes are a little like TOMB RAIDER.
When asked if she wants to become an action star, she said that she is
still very far from being that. In her hear a real female action star is
Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) who knows real gong fu. She joked that
she is a "three minute Mandarin lesson" and learned on the set. As for
the gun fight scene, the film company has applied for street closure in
advance with the proper authorities. Chin Wa was very appreciative of
the government's support for the Hong Kong film industry. She said that
the production special shot two days ago also has closed the streets. She
joked that hopefully the government will fund a movie next time. Director
Joe Ma Wai Ho expressed that the police has also assigned police vehicles
and barriers to maintain order on the streets. He also praised Chin Wa's
courage. Later in Shanghai Chin Wa will have to crawl on walls and
ceilings like Spider Man.
